The British Early Career Mathematicians' Colloquium is a two day conference for Early Career Mathematicians held at the University of Birmingham Edgbaston Campus from 13th to 14th June 2024. Our aim is to consolidate the network among early career researchers and postgraduate students from across the country, particularly those studying branches of mathematics prominent at our university - Algebra, Analysis, Combinatorics, Applied Mathematics, Optimisation and Statistics. This two-day event will be divided into two parallel sessions (pure mathematics and applied mathematics/optimisation), each with plenary speakers as well as contributed postgraduate talks. There will also be a discussion panel with some of our plenary speakers. The admission fee will cover attendance at the conference, refreshments, lunch both days as well as a conference dinner on the 13th June. For further details please see our website.
