Mode of attendance and fee
 
In-person fee rates: Unwaged, adjunct, or retired: £100 / Assistant or Associate Professor: £150/ Full Professor: £200
•    Delegates attending in-person have access to all panels, events, and receptions. 
•    They also have the opportunity to sign up for one seminar and to audit all other seminars. All seminars will be hybrid.
•    A morning tea and coffee and a light buffet lunch will be provided Wednesday-Friday. There will be a drinks reception on Tuesday evening, a garden party on Wednesday late afternoon, and a short performance on Thursday late afternoon. 
 
Online fee rates: Unwaged, adjunct, or retired: £25 / Assistant or Associate Professor: £35 / Full Professor: £45
•    Delegates attending online will have live access to all panels plus access to recordings during the week following the conference. 
•    They also have the opportunity to sign up for one seminar and to audit all other seminars. All seminars will be hybrid.
•    All sessions will take place between 9am-5pm UK time.
•    The information you provide will be compiled into the conference programme and badges, so please write your names, institutional affiliation etc, exactly as you wish them to appear.

This international gathering of leading Shakespeare scholars is held every two years, in the summer. Please note due to capacity restrictions we have had limited in person stands available which have been filled.

Please note the accommodation registration deadline is June 1st, earlier than the conference registration deadline of July 5th.  On campus conference accommodation will not be available to be booked after June 1st.

There will be an optional Conference Excursion to the Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum and Lichfield, Saturday 1st August. Coach to leave Edgbaston campus at 9:30am on Saturday 1st August, to return by 4:30pm. Coach travel and museum tour: £15

Online Conference: Thursday 6th August 2026

Residential trip to Stratford-upon-Avon for students studying in the Departments of Drama and Theatre Arts and English Literature. Ticket and travel costs have been subsidised by the School of English, Drama and Creative Studies and our collaboration with the RSC to reduce the cost for students.

Please note that during the trip we may be filming/taking photographs for future marketing purposes. Please let the organiser know on the day if you do not wish to be filmed/have your photo taken.
