The British Early Career Mathematicians' Colloquium is a two day conference for Early Career Mathematicians held at the University of Birmingham Edgbaston Campus from 10th to 11th July 2025.

Our aim is to consolidate the network among early career researchers and postgraduate students from across the country, particularly those studying branches of mathematics prominent at our university - Algebra, Analysis, Combinatorics, Applied Mathematics, Optimisation and Statistics.

This two-day event will be divided into two parallel sessions (pure mathematics and applied mathematics/optimisation), each with plenary speakers as well as contributed postgraduate talks. There will be an included poster session to accompany rapid fire talks given by attendees.

The admission fee will cover attendance at the conference, refreshments, lunch both days as well as a conference dinner on the 10th July. For further details please see our website.
