This is a one year course to provide the academic learning element for the CertHE in Food Control awarded by the CIEH. The course is aimed for Trading Standards Officers to complete and compliment their current skillset. The course fee of £3200 will be charged for the training and assessment delivered by UoB Food Safety Team within Chemical Engineering.

Detailed Description

This course is accredited by the CIEH to provide the academic learning for trading standards officers who wish to add the skills necessary to carry out food hygiene inspections.  It is a bespoke course that takes lectures from year 1 and 2 of the Higher Certificate course.  It is condensed into 1 year by removing many of the elements that TSOs should already have achieved.
