We are organising a series of day trips for international students. To book, please choose from the available trips below:

Day Trip to Nottingham, Saturday 28 January 2017

Capital for culture, capital for shopping, Get a taste for fine dining at the end of a hard day’s shopping.  Enjoy local produce in traditional market towns.  Hear legendary tales of Robin Hood and experience Sherwood Forest, stories of castles torn apart by civil war and the rumble of industry that built a city around Nottingham Lace.

Ticket includes a return journey to Nottingham and information regarding the sights and places of interest.

Departure: 8:45am from the Barber Institute (at the East Gate near the Guild of Students)

Day Trip to Warwick Castle, Saturday 11 February 2017

A chance to visit Warwick Castle, a magnificent medieval castle, probably the finest castle in England.

Your ticket includes the coach to Warwick Castle, the entrance fee into the Castle plus your return journey to the University of Birmingham.

Departure: 9:30am from the Barber Institute (at the East Gate near the Guild of Students)

Day Trip to the National Space Centre and Leicester, Saturday 25 February 2017

Visit the National Space Centre in the morning and spend the afternoon in Leicester, with state-of-the-art, award-winning venues including Curve and the Highcross Shopping Centre.  Leicester is renowned for museums and galleries, a range of cuisines, areas of natural beauty and ancient heritage. A modern city, rich in arts, culture, sports and heritage, Leicester offers something of interest for all ages.

Your ticket includes transport to the National Space Centre and entrance, followed by transport to the city centre, and back to Birmingham.

Day Trip to Harry Potter World, Saturday 11 March 2017

This is a small group trip to Harry Potter World (www.wbstudiotour.co.uk). Please note the numbers are restricted!

Your ticket includes admission into Harry Potter World as well as your coach journey.   A unique walking tour which takes you behind the scenes and showcases a huge array of beautiful sets, costumes and props.

Day Trip to the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Saturday 18 March 2017

A chance to visit Cotswold Wildlife Park which is set in 160 acres of parkland and gardens around a listed Victorian Manor House.  It is home to a fascinating and varied collection of mammals, birds, reptiles and invertebrates, from Ants to White Rhinos and Bats to big Cats.   Cotswold Wildlife Park is a member of the Federation of Zoological Gardens of Great Britain and Ireland: we share and exchange animals with other collections to further breeding programmes of conservation importance.

Your ticket includes the coach to the Cotswold Wildlife Park and entrance fees into the Park plus your return journey to the University of Birmingham.

Please give the names of all the people you are buying tickets for when asked to do so during the purchasing process, including any infants who are aged 0-12 months who are travelling for free and any people under the age of 18. This information is needed as we must have a complete list of everyone travelling for safety reasons.

Refund Policy
It may happen that after you have booked and paid for a trip, circumstances prevent you from taking part. Please note that regrettably the Birmingham International Academy cannot provide a refund, exchange or transfer.
