A Post-liberal World? The 4th annual conference of the Centre for the Study of Global Ethics.

The Centre for the Study of Global Ethics at the University of Birmingham is pleased to announce its fourth annual conference, on the question of whether, given the rising tide of nationalism, declining support for human rights, and currents of anti-intellectualism and anti-elitism, we are on our way to a post-liberal world.

As in previous years the conference will feature invited keynote speakers, including Alison Jaggar (Colorado Boulder and Birmingham) and others (tbc), speakers selected from a Call For Papers, and a public lecture, which will this year be given by Jonathan Wolff (Oxford) on the topic of ‘Social Inequality and Structural Injustice

Refreshments and lunches will be provided throughout the two-day conference.

The conference is generously supported by the Society for Applied Philosophy and the Aristotelian Society.
