Description

Residential trip for students studying in the Department of English Literature to Stratford-upon-Avon. Ticket and travel costs have been subsidised by the School of English, Drama and Creative Studies and our collaboration with the RSC to reduce the cost for students.

Please note that during the trip we may be filming/taking photographs for future marketing purposes. Please let the organiser know on the day if you do not wish to be filmed/have your photo taken.

Full Coference Registration - Registration includes lunch on Tue, Wed and Thu, the Dickens Dinner, and all social events.

Guest and Social Ticket - Theoption is for guests who will only attend the Dickens Dinner and social events.

Accommodation - The options to accommodation will open, once you select a type of Attendee Category. Room prices include breakfast (full English and Continental). The on-campus accommodation is available for giests too. PLease note our accommodation deadline is significantly earlier that the over deadline. Please book accommodation by Sunday May 19th. No on-campus accommodation options will be available after this date.

International Shakespeare Conference 2024

Description

This international gathering of leading Shakespeare scholars is held every two years, in the summer. This year the conference will be open to in person and online participation

Delegates attending in-person have access to all panels, events, and receptions.

They also have the opportunity to sign up for one seminar and to audit all other seminars. All seminars will be hybrid.

A morning tea and coffee and a light buffet lunch will be provided Wednesday-Friday. There will be a drinks reception on Tuesday evening, a garden party on Wednesday late afternoon, and a short performance on Thursday late afternoon. 

Online fee rates:
Unwaged, adjunct, or retired: £25
Assistant or Associate Professor: £35
Full Professor: £45

Delegates attending online will have live access to all panels plus access to recordings during the week following the conference.

They also have the opportunity to sign up for one seminar and to audit all other seminars. All seminars will be hybrid:
